I am trying to install an older printer on my laptop. It will print some things, but I am getting error messages, and not everything will print. HP Support stated that the G55 is no longer supported, however the printer was being used on another PC running Windows 10 (as this one is) without problems. HP does not have a driver download for the G55 and Windows 7. The driver link is to a document describing how to install the default Windows driver from Windows update. Note the description. 'Driver-Product Installation Software(1) Install the Driver Using Windows Update with a USB connection ( Downloadable Driver Not Available)' I did manage to figure out how to download the driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

It did take a bit to figure out which one of the 98 drivers listed were the files I needed.
